Are Canadian businesses missing out on investment opportunities in Africa?

Canadian businesses are missing out on investment opportunities in Africa. I have been to Nigeria twice for this year on business and I can assure anyone who is interested in much better ROI to please visit Africa.

I would recommend starting with Nigeria and please DO NOT BELIEVE THE MEDIA, when they speak about Nigeria/Africa. There is clearly bias reporting to discourage development in Africa, while at the same time many of these same people who are saying Africa is a dangerous place and they are corrupt, these are the same people who sneaks into Africa and making a ton of money, simply don’t want others to know.

I am one of the host for a trade mission from Nigeria, headed by the Governor of Ondo State, this week in Toronto. Come and learn first hand above business and investment opportunities in Nigeria.

The Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu ( SAN) will embark on a two day working visit to Canada as part of his drive to industrialize, develop and transform the state.

The visit scheduled to hold from the 25th – 26th October, 2018 at Grand Embassy convention Centre, 8800 The Gore Rd, Brampton L6P OB1. This will provide the needed window for the Governor to discuss business opportunities in the areas of Agriculture, Chocolate Processing Factory, Sheabutter Manufacturing Company, Pharmaceutical, Infrastructure and other related investment opportunities.

The visit will also be used to establish a bilateral business relationship between Canada and the Ondo State Government.
A group of Canadian Investors led by Canadian Consultants Ms. Abi Goodman and Mr. Trevor Fortune had earlier visited Ondo State to establish a business relationship and strong connectivity between Canadian Investors and the state government.

Expected to accompany Governor Akeredolu on the trip include Special Adviser on Development and Investment, Mr. Oyewumi Akinboye, Special Assistant on Natural Resources, Hon. Lawal Fatai, Special Adviser on Works, Lands and Infrastructure, Engr. Aminu Raimi, as well as the Deputy Chief of Protocols, Barr. Alabi Bola

Captains of Industries led by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Klick Konnect Networks, Chief Alex Ajipe would also be part of Mr Governor’s entourage.
